Mike is a graduate of the Halls International Career Diving Institute, with over a decade of diving experience. He is a NAUI, YMCA, CMAS, DAN, and NSC instructor. On the technical side, Mike is an IANTD and TDI instructor, certified to teach advanced nitrox, gas blending, decompression procedures, and the azimuth and drager semi-closed circuit rebreathers. Mike's personability enables him to create an upbeat, enjoyable learning environment. In the same week he has been known to go from teaching a basic scuba diver course to preparing technical divers for 150 foot mixed-gas decompression dives. Mike has teamed up with Bill Lidyoff (see his impressive bio below) to fulfill all of your scuba needs.
Bill Lidyoff brings over 30 years of experience to PacScuba. As a NAUI Course Director (NAUI's highest designation) for over 12 years, Bill has certified divers of all ages, from basic scuba diver up through course director (and everything in between). Bill is a known authority in the sport of recreational diving. Working for NAUI, Bill helped create the NAUI textbooks that are used today by diving students worldwide. Bill has also served on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles County Underwater Instructors Association, diving's first certification agency. As an educator, Bill is constantly refining his teaching methods to exceed the ever changing dive industry standards.
Ben is a graduate of Halls International Career Diving Institute with an array of diving experience. He has a passion for the underwater world and a healthy respect for marine life and conservation. He believes the safety of a new diver is directly related to their comfort level in the water. it is his goal to help you establish your confidence in the water in an enjoyable environment, so you will be able to dive safely for years to come! Ben runs our operation in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
